SAT Prep Course for Juniors

Sponsored by Pentucket

The course will focus on test taking strategies, review of important concepts, and strengthening verbal, writing and problem solving skills.  Registration will take place from January 26 to January 30, 2009 in the guidance office.  The cost is $175.00, which includes the book.  The course begins on March 5, 2009 and will run on Thursday evenings (except March 10) from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Four instructors will rotate and work with all students in specific areas.  Students will be assigned work to complete outside of the classroom.  This course is intended to prepare students for the SAT given on May 2, 2009.

*The June 6, 2009 SAT date conflicts with Pentucket High School’s graduation date.  Juniors who plan to attend graduation and are planning to take both the SAT I and SAT II Subject Tests should register for the March 14th and the May 2nd dates.  Students should see their counselor with any questions.  Students need to register at www.collegeboard.com, using their My Road user name and password.
